Introduction

The purpose of this document is to provide a clear perspective on various aspects of parking and propose several policy and management measures to improve urban transportation systems, promote sustainable urban development, and enhance residents' quality of life, while taking political constraints into account.

The document is based on independent research we conducted in Israeli cities, as well as information gathered from past studies conducted in Israel and abroad. These studies were published by professional entities within local and national authorities, as well as by academic researchers who examined and analyzed case studies from around the world.
